Preparing for your session is the first step in assuring you will get great portraits that you and your parents will both love for years to come. Here is a list we have put together to help you look your best. Please review the following tips and feel free to call our studio if you have any questions.

Clothing…
- Solid colors photography best. Please avoid designs & strips as they compete with your face.
- Most seniors choose a mix of casual and formal looks.
- When choosing your outfits, the most important thing is that you like them and they fit well.
- Bring a variety of clothing, whether we use them all or not.
- Avoid slevless or very short sleeves since upper arms can be distracting
- Don’t be afraid to show your personal style!
- In casual and outdoor portraits, we suggest having bare feet in a few.
Hair, skin and makeup…
- Women should wear light evening makeup.
- A lightly applied foundation covers minor complexion problems
- Serious skin problems can be corrected digitally for an extra charge.
- Hair should be neat.
- Braces can be digitally removed for an additional charge.
- Men should remember to shave just before leaving for your session.
- Glare on eye glasses can be digitally removed for an additional charge, but tinted lenses cannot be lightened.
- Your hands and fingers should be cleaned and groomed.
- You are playing fall sports that require you to cut your hair, be certain to hold your creative session appointment before you cut your hair.
